China National Day 2026: holiday dates and sourcing preparations

The following are China’s published National Day arrangements for 2026. Dates refer to the calendar in China.

Published schedule

• Holiday period: 1 October 2026 (Thursday) to 7 October 2026 (Wednesday); 7 days in total.
• Designated make-up working days: 20 September 2026 (Sunday); 10 October 2026 (Saturday).

Before ordering or dispatching

For transport spanning National Day, confirm collection cut-offs, service schedules and delivery appointments in Japan. If only the urgently needed quantity may ship first, compare the additional packing, freight and receiving work before agreeing a split.

Individual factories, warehouses and transport providers may operate different schedules. Confirm the arrangements for the actual order and service rather than treating the public calendar as a production or collection confirmation.
